I’m not looking to make things more complicated this fall—I’m looking for anything that makes dinner easier, faster, and a little less stressful. 😂
Here are three things in heavy rotation for me right now and why.
1. My Slow Cooker 🍲
This one has been on repeat for years, especially on days when I know we’re going to be busy and no one has time—or wants 😂—to cook dinner at the end of the day.
What I love most is being able to get everything going earlier in the day and know dinner is basically handled.
As things get busier this fall, I already know I’ll be leaning on it for soups, shredded chicken, easy taco nights, and those throw-it-in-and-forget-about-it dinners.
Honestly, I don’t know how I’d get through some busy weeks without it!
2. My Air Fryer 🍗
I started using my air fryer because I wanted a quicker way to get dinner on the table, and now it’s become one of those things I reach for without even thinking about it.
Chicken, veggies, potatoes, leftovers—you name it. 😂
As schedules start filling up again this fall, this is the one I’m leaning on when I need something quick without creating a sink full of dishes afterward.
Because I’ve realized I don’t need more time to make dinner—I just need fewer steps.
3. Anything That Makes Prep Faster 🔪
This might actually be my most-recommended category lately.
If something can help me chop, slice, prep, or get ingredients ready faster, I’m interested. 😂
I’m trying to get better about doing a little meal prep ahead of time—not spending hours prepping an entire week, but maybe chopping vegetables or getting a few ingredients ready so I’m not starting from zero at 5:00.
If you’re heading into a busier fall routine too, this is where I’d start.
Even having a few ingredients ready to grab from the fridge can make deciding what’s for dinner feel SO much easier.
Keep It Simple 💕
That’s what’s earning real estate in my routine right now.
I used to think making dinner easier meant I needed to become more organized, plan everything perfectly, or spend hours meal prepping.
I’m realizing it can be much simpler than that.
A few good tools. A few easy meals. A few shortcuts.
That’s much more realistic for me—and honestly, I’m way more likely to stick with it!
Now I’m curious: What’s earning a permanent spot in YOUR routine as we head toward fall?
Leave me a comment and tell me! And if you’re looking for something to make cooking or meal prep easier this fall, reach out. Tell me what gives you the biggest headache in the kitchen, and I’d be happy to help you find something that could make it easier. 😊
